Lecker! Lecker! Lecker!

Elisabeth took me to the Turkish farmer's market in Kreuzberg on the other side of town. We took the U-Bahn which was good because I have to use it again tomorrow to leave. The market was jam packed with people, and many old Turkish ladies in their scarves. The guys in the bottom left picture were selling dips, or Pasten, and kept yelling "Lecker. Lecker. Lecker." It means delicious or tasty. It made for a good vibe and they gave us some samples. Lecker indeed. Elisabeth bought 4 flavors.

Tonight I'm going to a punk show with Valentina. It's taking place in an abandoned building that's run by punks and anarchists. That's what Elisabeth tells me anyway.  I can't take pictures because they will kick me out. Apparently punks have taken over a few abandoned buildings and turned them into art studios, theatres, and soup kitchens turning them into communities where everyone helps out with certain things. They eat a lot of vegan food and sell it cheap or at no charge if you help out. All this I learned from Elisabeth while walking around town.
